Been here 2x now . The hotel is clean and basic but it’s a good location to all amenities . Toby carvery is just beside the hotel . We love our breakfast in Toby .

Having stayed here a few years ago and having a poor experience, I returned with trepidation. I am glad that I returned. The rooms have had a refresh, brilliant. The beds were still comfy and brilliant. The shower was powerful enough and hot enough. The room was turned down during our stay, not as common as it once was. The breakfast is huge. I am so happy with the visit. Thank you.
Value for money. From outside I was a little worried but the rooms were grand and v clean. Female curly haired manager on 2 June about 4pm was v friendly made us v welcome.really no complaints for price. Free parking close to airport and the cavern was amazing for any price never mind how cheap it actually was. No idea how or why anyone could complain
We have stayed here twice now before flying out of Exeter airport. The rooms are small but perfect for a night. Everything is there, tv, hairdryer, tea, coffee. Beds okay for a night however is warm in the summer but room had a fan and it was switched on when we arrived and window was open which kept it cooler. Plenty of parking and food and drinks onsite. Will stay again.
Great food, well priced. Busy and thriving for a random Thursday which is a good sign. Serving staff were really helpful and as a solo diner were also very thoughtful at offering to go and refill my drink so I didn't have to leave my belongings unattended. It was an unexpected bit of customer service which made a difference. Would go back, the food was lovely and a welcome bit of comfort after a long drive.
This place was a wonderful find, with lovely staff, delicious food, clean room, great water pressure and a wholesome feel. For special mentions Kirstie is absolutely amazing and really went the extra mile to make our stay superb. She truly is a rare find, works incredibly hard and is a wonderful reflection of the company. Ville is also delightful, so welcoming and is an absolute star. If somebody wants a great stay in Exeter for fantastic value they should definitely come here.
Circumstances meant that we needed a bed for the night and as we were working in Exeter town centre we chose a local Hotel. The innkeepers lodge in the outskirts of Exeter was a cheap and convenient place. We could have booked in at 3 but we were bith at work until 6. The booking in process was easy and quick and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. We got our key and went into the bedroom block. It was very warm inside the room but we had a fan. No air conditioning as it is an old building. We ate at the Carvery next door and was very satisfied by the food. We had an ok night sleep. The pillows were not the best but the bed was ok. The early morning traffic woke us up at 6.30 but that was ok. The nice thing about the room was the late check out at 12. We had chance to do a bit of local shopping and still have a base to come back to afterwards. We checked out around 11.30. I would stay again, but next time I will pack my own pillows.
